Web standards require specific fonts in the header and footer of all University websites. The fonts used in the main content section of each site are left to the discretion of each webmaster.

Adobe Garamond Pro is used in the header for each site title. Dynamic font replacement is applied to present users with a smooth vector-based type that has not traditionally been available on the web. JavaScript is used to translate a plain web font such as Times to Adobe Garamond Pro.

The University web templates utilize two additional font types.The font family "Times New Roman, Times, serif" is used for headers within the main body. The font family "Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif" is used for paragraph text, navigation, and modules.
