University Communications has created an online Storrs campus map that provides a number of helpful features for the UConn community and its visitors.

• enjoy robust search capabilities – search by building name, code, department, or keyword
• browse by category – public parking, sports facilities, etc.
• see photos and descriptions of buildings
• share a location with a friend
• get detailed driving directions

The Google-based map is also loaded with benefits for University webmasters. You can embed the map within your webpage or link to a specific campus location or category. Here's how:

Embed or Link to a Location

1. Search for the location you would like to link to or embed.
   
2. If more than one result is displayed in the left column, click on the appropriate location.
   
3. Click Link to Here on the information bubble that appears on the map.
   
4. A black box will appear.
   
   
5. To embed the map, select all code from the Embed section and copy it to your computer's clipboard. Paste the embed code into your website code based on where the map should appear on your website. (Note: the embed code should be pasted between the body tags in your document)
   To link to a location, select all code from the Link section and copy it. Paste this link into emails, documents, websites, etc.
