The change log is a record of updates that are made to the University web template files in order to correct problems. If you utilize the recommended version of the template, these changes are automatically applied to your website. If you are using an advanced version of the template, the changes are not automatically applied. Webmasters may choose to adapt these changes for their own websites, but it is not required as part of the web standards.

Released: June 2010 - Present

This is the most recent version of the UConn web template. Its release coincides with the Summer 2010 revision of the University web standards.

Websites built using the Standard Download were automatically updated during the release of this template. For webmasters who installed the full template package because they were working on a secure directory or a web application, the log of changes which occurred are listed below:

• global.css v1.3: Changed on 8/9/07 by AB
  • added a class for buttons called "std_button" that can be apploed to any <a> within the content block
• global.css v1.3: Changed on 7/30/07 by AB
  • added margin:0; to #content div.css_linkBox h4, #content table.table_linkBox th
  • This was to fix a display error in FFox and Safari.
• global.css v1.31: Changed on 7/17/07 by AB
  • removed display:inline from #nav_left li li a {}
  • This was causing a minor display problem for long link titles.

  • added a height of 1% to the <li> of #left_nav, to mitigate the IE6 LI spacing bug

This version of the template was not numbered as V2 at the time it was created. It did not use tables for layout. It is no longer supported.
