ConnecticutOnline Webmaster Utility
The Online Webmaster Utility, available at http://web2.uconn.edu/admin (NetID and password required), provides access to the following services:
- secure directories (Watch the demonstration)
- configure web page counters
- view web traffic statistics
The Online Webmaster Utility is password protected. In order to use it, you must provide your NetID and password. Once logged in, you are presented with a list of web sites for which you are a registered webmaster. Each web site will have five links which let you perform the following services:
- View the web site's home page
- View the account info maintained by the Accounts Desk and the Web Development Lab
- Secure and un-secure web site directories from an online application, as well as enter a list of NetIDs and/or username with passwords of those allowed to view content within the secure direcories
- Configure counters for your web pages
- View traffic statistics collected for your web site
In addition, there are two other useful links on the left menu, which are not tied to particular web sites:
- One link points to the online application phpMyAdmin which can be used to configure databases used by web sites.
- The other link brings you to the phpinfo page, which gives detailed information about the installed version of PHP.
