Setting up WebDav in Cyberduck
Cyberduck is an open source FTP and SFTP, WebDAV, Cloud Files, Google Docs, and Amazon S3 client for Mac OS X and Windows (as of version 4.0) licensed under the GPL. Cyberduck can be downloaded from cyberduck.ch or here.
This document provides instructions to set up WebDAV in Cyberduck on a computer with the Windows 7 operating system.
- Select the plus sign to add a new bookmark
- Select the WebDAV (HTTP/SSL) client from the dropdown menu
- The server name is web2.uconn.edu
- The port is 4443
- Username use your NetID
- Click More Options
- The Path is /mysite (mysite = your account name)
- Specify your local folder location
- Web URL: https://web2.uconn.edu:4443/mysite (mysite = your account name)
- Close the window, and click Open Connection on the top icon
- Select the WebDAV (HTTP/SSL) client from the dropdown menu
- The server name is web2.uconn.edu
- The port is 4443
- Username & Password: Enter your NetID and NetID password. (If you've forgotten your NetID password you can reset it at netid.uconn.edu)
- Click More Options
- The Path is /mysite (mysite = your account name)
- Click Connect
