The UNESCO Coalition of Human Rights Organizations, New England (CHRONE), is a coalition of human rights organizations in New England that seeks to maximize each organization’s impact and capacity. Member organizations work together to advance the causes of human rights, social justice, international peace, security, and understanding.

UNESCO encourages collaboration among institutions for the promotion of education, research, and outreach on human rights. Some of the Coalition’s goals are to share information and expertise, embark on joint initiatives, pool resources, and advocate for the United States to play a positive role in the United Nations in general and in UNESCO in particular.
