Physics Learning Resources Center

Friday - 9:00AM-3:00PM
Please note that the PLRC is generally open Monday
through Friday from 9:00AM-6:00PM. The Center tries
to have staff available during those times, but
does not have always have enough coverage. An updated
schedule is posted outside of the Center.
Physics Learning Resources Center offers:
- PLRC staff member who can assist you in working problems or mastering difficult concepts. This staff member is generally an upper-level physics student who was not so long ago at the same stage as you are at present, and is able to provide guidance.
- Other students who are working as hard as you are on their physics course. Discovering the answers together is often a more effective learning strategy than working alone, especially when there is an expert available to keep you on track.
- Several PC workstations loaded with useful physics software that provide interactive lessons on the major subjects of introductory physics, featuring animations of actual experiments and analysis of the results.
Physics tutoring is also sponsored by the Q Center.
