University of Connecticut |Request for Permission Number for Sociology Undergraduate Classes
All requests for special permission numbers are handled by the Sociology department, NOT by individual instructors. We receive a large number of requests and we want to guarantee that those students (especially Sociology majors) who need our classes are able to enroll. The exceptions are 3990/3991 (Field Experience) and 3999 (Independent Study).
This semester Sociology will once again use the Peoplesoft Waitlist system to enroll students. If you are unable to register for a course, put your name on the Waitlist for the course. You will be notified as soon as possible if you are granted a seat in the course. If you do not receive a permission number, there are no available seats. Also see,
