Biographical Statement:

My research is primarily focused on the relationship between finance capital institutions and society, particularly the affect these institutions may have on power processes of the state. I am currently pursuing an investigation into the question of predatory lending and its affect on wealth inequality. I am also interested in the role of the state in the social constructions of race, class, and gender. I am currently working on a book about power, oppression, and the state, which explores this question.
