Registrar's Reports

The Office of the Registrar provides specific services to the University's faculty and staff. The Registrar's staff compiles information about undergraduate courses, programs, and students.

Types of reports available :

 

Use of Current Student Data and Undergraduate Graduation Reports requires application for access and the use of a NetID and password for login. See instructions.

Current Student Data Reports

The Registrar's Office provides reports in Excel format and are available for download. Data is refreshed nightly. These reports include current students in the following careers and campuses: Undergraduate, Ratcliffe Hicks, Doctor of Pharmacy and Non-Degree at Storrs and the Regional Campuses (Avery Point, Hartford, Stamford, Torrington and Waterbury)

Undergraduate Graduation Reports

The University of Connecticut graduates students three times a year: May, August, and December. The Registrar's Office provides Excel reports containing information on undergraduate students who have graduated. These reports include graduation reports from May 2001 through the most current semester available.

 

 


To gain access to Registrar's current student data or undergraduate graduation reports, please submit an application. We ask that no ID or password sharing occur in any of the departments.

UC Reports

You must have administrative access to the Student Administration System (Student Records data) in order to obtain access to these reports.

Student Administration Data Mart – University of Connecticut's data warehouse.

The warehouse holds current student data that is refreshed nightly.

One of two types of BRIO (report writing license) user license is required to access the data warehouse. For information about obtaining a license, please see http://software.uconn.edu/software/software_detail.php?softid=brio

Many Student Administration reports have been prepared and saved as Brio documents on the OnDemand Server (ODS). These reports can be selected and processed (many with user-specified selection criteria – Academic Semester, School or College, Major, etc).

Responsibility of Registrar's Office. The Office of the Registrar is the primary custodian of student permanent academic records and student data for the University. It is the responsibility of the Registrar's Office to strive diligently to meet both its ethical and legal responsibilities to the University and its student body. To that end, the following regulations and guidelines governing access and protection of these records are effective for all offices and employees within the University of Connecticut. The principal governing legislation regarding these standards is the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, as amended.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, protects the privacy of educational records, establishes the students' rights to inspect their educational records, provides guidelines for correcting inaccurate or misleading data through informal hearings, and permits students to file complaints with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) concerning alleged failures of the institution to comply with this Act. This statement clarifies the responsibilities of persons with access to student educational records.
