Trip/Clinic Registration
Registration begins on January 20 and takes place at the UConn Adventure Center (UAC) between 11AM - 6PM (M-F) The UAC is located on the 2nd floor of the Student Union immediately across from the Information and Ticket desks. Programs with deposits have a required date for the payment of remaining fees. Payment must be made by the date listed or the participant forfeits all fees.
Information Meetings
Some trips will require the attendance of a pre-trip information meeting. Meetings are held in the UConn Adventure Center and times will be listed on the trip information form given to you at registration. These meetings are extremely important as equipment, food, safety issues, departure times and various other items will be discussed and determined by the group. Attendance is mandatory unless otherwise arranged with the Director for Outdoor Adventure. Individuals who do not attend the information meetings without prior arrangements will not be allowed on the program and will forfeit all fees.
Cancellation and Contingency
If you cancel your registration for any reason it must be done before the close of business (6PM) on the registration deadline in order to receive a 50% refund. Cancellations after the registration deadline will result in the forfeiture of all fees. As we are adventurers, our trips or clinics usually take place rain or shine. However, if the situation warrants it due to unsafe conditions, we reserve the right to cancel a trip/clinic at any time. In the event of a cancellation all fees will be refunded. Additionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, UConn Outdoors reserves the right to remove or alter program itinerary items.
