Department of Recreational Services Leadership Team
Many opportunities exist for students to work in paid positions in the Department of Recreational Services. Hourly wages begin at $8.00 per hour. Experience is not mandatory (for most positions), all you need is enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Prior to employment, the Department staff will conduct mandatory training sessions which discuss policy, rules, and performance expectations. Both work study and student labor candidates are welcome!
The Department of Recreational Services is dedicated to providing professional development opportunities to its student employees. Opportunities exist for regional and national recreation conference attendance as well as workshops, officiating clinics, extramurals, certification classes, local sport board memberships and much more!
