Welcome to the Department of Recreational Services
Come on over!
We are your one stop for recreational needs.
If you want to play in an organized basketball league or if you just want to shoot hoops on your own time and play a pick up game, we are here for you.
If you feel like pumping iron or getting that heart rate up by running on a treadmill, we're for you.
If you just want to get away from the pressures of college life, we are DEFINITELY for you.
Inclement Weather Policies
The SRF (Climbing Center and BodyWise) will attempt to remain open during University closings and class cancellations. Some programs (i.e. Intramurals) may need to postpone games/events. However, during intersession, when the University closes due to weather concerns, the SRF and all of our programs will be closed. Always check our hotline at 486-2837 for update information.
We are committed to offering safe and quality programs, facilities, and services to the University of Connecticut family in order to foster personal growth.
We do this by promoting healthy lifestyle choices in an environment that values, embraces, and enriches individual differences in which customer satisfaction is the priority.
