UConn Psychology Research facts

  • UConn Psychology ranks 3rd in R&D expenditures among all U.S. psychology departments in the most recent (FY05) NSF statistics.
  • Active participation in research is a key component of undergraduate training in Psychology at UConn. In the 2006-2007 academic year, 449 undergraduates participated in faculty-supervised individualized research projects, and 76 of these undergraduates appeared as co-authors on refereed journal articles or as co-presenters on papers or posters given at regional or national conferences.
