Undergraduate Advising
To Declare Yourself a Psychology Major (or
Minor):
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd-Semester Students: See Dr. Eleanor
Coldwell in BOUS 100 to declare your major.
- 4th-Semester (and beyond) Students: :See Mrs. Linda
Ferrell in BOUS 100A to declare your major.
Meeting With Your Advisor:
- See your advisor as often as you like during his/her office
hours or at another mutually-agreeable time.
- Whenever you meet with your advisor regarding matters related
to your Plan of Study (including preregistration), you should
bring along an up-to-date version of your Plan of Study. Either
fill out the version obtainable from Mrs. Ferrell, or fill out
the appropriate electronic versions above and print them out.
Preregistration
- Obtain a copy of THE PSYCHOLOGY
GUIDE either via this link or from Mrs. Ferrell.
- Meet with your advisor.
Preparing for Graduation
- Before the end of the 4th week of the semester in which you
plan to graduate, neatly fill out 3 copies of your Plan of Study
and bring them to your advisor for signing.
