A discussion on new legislature and initiatives concerning the status of immigrants in Connecticut, and the manner in which mayors, cities, and state offices are dealing with this demographic transformation.

Kica Matos is Community Coordinator for the City of New Haven, Former Director of Junta for Progressive Action in New Haven, and the recipient of the John F. Kennedy New Frontier Award from the Kennedy Library Foundation and Harvard's Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School of Government.
