José Luis González: El intelectual nómada. Río Piedras, Puerto Rico: Callejón, 2006.

An appraisal of Puerto Rican/Dominican/Mexican intellectual José Luis González, his writings, his life as an internationalist, marxist theorist, and his construction by intellectuals and writers. This work considers the problematics of nationhood, exile, and deterritorialization, the dynamics of intellectual production during the cold war, and the construction of a post-national imaginary in a critical period of unbridled geopolitical reorganization in the American hemisphere. [290 pgs.]
