Program Mission |
Peer Leadership Instructors are experienced student leaders who are trained in leadership theories and principles as well as techniques for effective facilitation and instruction. PLIs then actively participate in the design, development and cofacilitation of a 1-credit Leadership Seminar introducing first and second year students to the theories, principles and opportunities for leadership on campus. This opportunity also requires enrollment and attendance in a 3 credit EDLR 283 course focusing on student leadership development. Peer LEadership Instructors have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience as veteran student leaders and at the same time gain valuable experience! |
