Program Mission
Help newly admitted juniors with the transition into the Neag School of Education.
Expected Commitment
At least one semester, but students often participate for a longer period of time.
Majors
Students must already be in the Neag School of Eduation and will most likely be in their senior or Master's year.
Training
Occurs prior to the beginning of the academic year and continually (monthly meetings)
 
     
  Basic Description  
 
   
Type of Peer Educator Education majors.
Responsibilities Mentors meet with one or more mentees to answer questions about the Neag School of Education experience. Mentors serve as role models to help others along the path to future success as teachers.
Type of Student Serviced Newly admitted students in the Neag School of Education and students interested in applying.
