Purchasing a Permit
Before the start of the Fall and Spring semesters, students will be able to purchase parking permits online. Announcements for when online registration is available will be posted to the Daily Digest, Facebook, Twitter, and on the Parking Services homepage. All other times, student parking permits must be purchased in person at the Parking Services Office.
Come to the Parking Services Office with the following:
- Valid driver’s license
- Current vehicle registration
- Payment in the form of cash, check, Husky Bucks or credit card
The vehicle being registered for parking must be owned by the applicant or a member of his/her immediate family. Students may not register a vehicle belonging to another student.
Please note that there are no rooftop garage permits this year. Students with a garage permit can park in any area of the garage but will no longer be allowed to park in Commuter lots.
All commuter students and resident students with 54 or more credits may purchase a parking permit.
Graduate/Teaching assistantships must be verified before a GA/TA permit can be issued. If verification cannot be found in the student's PeopleSoft account, documentation must be provided.
If you no longer need your permit, it can be returned to the Parking Services Office by October 1st for a full refund or by February 15th for a half-year refund.
