Transportation Services runs service during the semester, Monday through Thursday from 6:30am - 12:00am, Fridays from 6:30am - 10:00pm, Saturdays from 11:00am - 6:00pm, and Sundays from 6:00pm - 12:00am. We run twelve buses on five different routes throughout the day with fewer buses in the evenings and on the weekends. Students pay a mandatory transit fee which allows them unlimited access to all the campus shuttles and for those who need it, access to the handicapped van service.
Transportation Services is always accepting applications for student bus drivers and van drivers. To apply, any student can pickup an application at our dispatch office located in the Central Warehouse Building or online. The minimum requirements and pay scale for shuttle employees can be found here.
Transportation Services does not run any service to Hartford, Boston, New York City, or Bradley International Airport, however there are some travel alternatives such as Peter Pan/Bonanza, Amtrak, CT Transit and others.
