The Harry S. Truman Scholarship

The Truman Scholarship is awarded to college juniors with exceptional leadership potential and commitment to a career in government, the nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education, or elsewhere in public service. The scholarship provides financial support for graduate study.

The deadline for submitting a pre-application for the Harry S. Truman scholarship this year has passed. The next deadline for pre-applications will be in November of 2008. Next year’s pre-application will closely resemble this year’s Pre-application form , which is still available at this site.

Harry S. Truman Scholarships for graduate study are awarded to college juniors with exceptional leadership potential and commitment to career in government, the nonprofit or advocacy, education, or elsewhere in public service.
