| Coefficients of imperviousness are applied to each of the land cover classes. The darker the red, the higher the % of imperviousness. |

imperviousness map is overlain by a map of local watersheds. |

Percent imperviousness is then calculated for each watershed

| These percentages are depicted in a “stoplight” color scheme for ease of interpretation. Red indicates high levels of impervious cover that research indicates will be injurious to water resources. |
