About CLEAR
The Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR) was approved as an official University Center in April 2002. CLEAR is a group of related programs at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, all involved with research, tools, training and education related to improving local land use plans and practices. CLEAR programs include NEMO, the National NEMO Network, the Geospatial Technology Program, LERIS, the Land Use Planning Program, the Green Valley Institute and the Urban Forestry and Forest Stewardship programs. CLEAR’s mission is to provide information, education and assistance to land use decision makers in support of balancing growth and natural resource protection. |
