How do you know you can trust what you read on the Internet? We have practice dealing with scam artists when they come to our door, or when they call on the phone, but many of us don't have practice in dealing with misinformation on the Web. A number of places, particularly universities and libraries, have developed some strategies to help you. The titles of these pages may all sound the same, but each has its own take on what you should do. Please look at a couple of these pages, and increase your Internet saavy.

If some of these sources contain MULTITUDES of their own links, survey a few so you know where things are and what's going on.
