Holder of the Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland & Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute. A political commentator for all networks, including CNN and ABC Nightline; a prolific writer on the Middle East and U.S. policies and advisor on foreign policy to the U.S. delegation to the United Nations. Member of the Trilateral Anti-Incitement Committee mandated by the Wye Agreement.

Delegitimizing Terrorism:
A Proposal for an International Strategy

Senior Fellow at the Lexington Institute. Formerly Deputy Director, International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Dr. Goure spent two years as director of Office of Strategic Competitiveness in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and also served as a senior analyst on national security and defense issues. He is an NBC national security military analyst and has been interviewed by major networks and newspapers.

Saudi Arabia:
Essential Ally or Inciter of Anti-American Hatred?

Deputy Director for Research at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and senior editor of Middle East Quarterly; previously senior economist at the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Dr. Clawson often testifies before committees of the U.S. Congress and is author and editor of several books on politics and economy of the Middle East, including U.S. Sanctions on Iran and Energy Security in the Twenty-first Century.
