Using WebDAV to Upload Files from a Mac to HuskyCT

**Directions for Mac OS X 10.4 and later
 
Basic Procedure
                 
1.
 Copy the WebDAV address
           
2.
 Connect to your site on the HuskyCT server
           
3.
 Drag and Drop files to the File Manager of your HuskyCT site
             
Detailed Instructions
             
Step 1: Copy the WebDAV address
   
 

Go to File Manager from the Build tab

 
 
 

Click gray option menu icon

Select "View WebDAV Info"
 
  Copy the WebDAV Address
Step 2: Connect to your site on the
             
 

In Finder, select "Go" menu

Select "Connect to Server"

 
  Paste the WebDAV info into the "Server Address" box
 
 

Click the "+" button

Click Connect button

This will add the address to the list of favorite servers

 
 

In the pop up box, type in your NetID and password

Click "OK"
Step 3: Drag and Drop Files to your HuskyCT site File Manager
             
 

Your drive will automatically mount in the finder.

You can now "Drag and Drop" files into this drive

The files will appear in the File Manager of your HuskyCT site
