Biography
Education: PhD University of Chicago (History, with distinction, 1998), BA Columbia (East Asian Studies, magna cum laude, 1991). Alexis Dudden first wanted to be a geologist. She still hopes to be one someday, but in the meantime she is researching the politics of food security in Northeast Asia.
