Subcommittees for the Advisory Board

This subcommittee is being convened to discuss communication between UConn campuses and how FYE programming between campuses can be better integrated. Training programs and workshops for faculty and staff who participate in First Year Experience across campuses will also be discussed.

Committee Chair: Nadine Brennan, Student Services, UConn - Hartford

The LC Subcommittee will gather to discuss the expansion of Learning Communities at UConn. The Subcommittee will be asked to provide guidance to First Year Programs regarding course clusters, service learning, and communication between various entities on campus (Departments, Schools/Colleges, Cultural Centers, etc).

Committee Chair: Brenda Shaw, First Year Programs, UConn - Storrs

This group will gather to oversee Faculty/Student Seminars (INTD 182) for First Year Programs. The Subcommittee will devise a system of review for course proposals and review submissions.
