We are excited to announce that we are bringing the mentors back prior to classes. Beginning on August 20th we would like to kick-off the training by inviting instructors to meet their mentors at lunch so instructors and mentors have a chance to touch base and continue the process of planning classes. As part of the lunch, we have asked Keith Barker, Associate Vice Provost for the Institute of Teaching and Learning, to speak with us.
KB has been delivering his talk on creating the proper classroom culture to our mentors for the past six years. The student's overwhelming reaction has been they wished the presentation was done prior to classes.
We are hoping you can take some time out on that busy day to join us!
