FRS Plus FOCUS Files
The Financial Record System (FRS) enables a user to obtain various information
and transaction activity on their particular University accounts through
the use of its online screens. Depending on the screen selected a user
can review such items as the year-to-date account activity, open commitments
and account attributes. This same type of information can be derived from
the FRS focus data files, which is a second data source available to users.
The FRS focus data files are updated each night by the Computer Center
to reflect the prior days activities that took place on the Financial
Record System. A user may use these focus data files provided their CMS
account has been given access to them by the Computer Center. To request
or verify that a CMS account has access to the FRS focus data files a
user may contact the Financial Systems area at extension 3778 or 5887.
Once a CMS account is linked the following steps need to be performed
to get into the focus files.
Log onto to the Mainframe using the assigned CMS account then
From READY; ;Type INFOCUS
If this produces an "Unknown" message, please call the
Financial Systems area at x3778 or x5887 and your CMS profile will be
set up to allow the use of the INFOCUS command.

on your screen:
