Directions to the Family Studies Building

From the West (heading through or from Hartford):

Take Interstate 84 East to Exit 68. From exit, take a right onto Route 195, 7 miles to UConn. Proceed through the 195/44 intersection and travel approximately 1 mile to the Storrs Campus. As you get to the bottom of the hill, with a white church on your right ( North Eagleville Road) and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources on your left, you will pass a large lawn on your right. The Family Studies Building is the middle of the three buildings you see at the crest of that lawn. Continue to the third stop light and turn right on Mansfield Road. The lake will be on your right. You will go through one stop sign and continue straight on Mansfield Road. Take your next right onto a parking lot. This is a restricted parking lot, adjacent to the Family Studies Building (which is just to the left) also in front of Manchester Hall. Parking is permitted in this lot only after 5 pm and on the weekends.

From the East (heading from Boston toward Hartford):

Take Interstate 84 West to Exit 68. From exit, take a left onto Route 195, and follow directions above.

From the Southeast Interstate 95 to 395 North:

Take Exit 81 West to Route 32 North. Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic. In town, turn right and go over bridge. Continue straight through the light and follow 195 North for 8 miles to campus. Travel North on Rte. 195, through the intersection of Rte. 195 and Rte. 275/South Eagleville Road. You will soon pass a group of shops and Buckley Residence Hall on your right. At the light, turn left onto Mansfield Road. The lake will be on your right. You will go through one stop sign and continue straight on Mansfield Road. Take your next right onto a parking lot. This is a restricted parking lot, adjacent to the Family Studies Building (which is just to the left) also in front of Manchester Hall. Parking is permitted in this lot only after 5 pm and on the weekends.

Visitors to campus can take advantage of the new parking garages. The North Garage is located off of North Eagleville and North Hillside Roads. Follow directions above until you approach the intersection of Rte. 195 and North Eagleville Road. Take a right onto North Eagleville and follow until you see the North Parking Garage on your left. Take a left at the light onto North Hillside Road and another left toward the entrance of the garage. Rates are from $1.00 - $6.00.

Visitors can also utilize the South Parking Garage, across from Gampel Pavilion on Stadium Road. Coming from 195 on Mansfield Road, take a left onto Gilbert Road and then a right onto Hillside Road. Take your next left onto Stadium Road and the South Garage will be on your left. Rates are from $1.00 - $6.00.
