Outlook 2007 Configuration

To configure Outlook 2007 follow the instructions below.

If you do not currently have Outlook 2007 you must first upgrade to Office 2007. The University has obtained a site license allowing for a free upgrade to Office 2007 for all UConn Windows pc's.

1. Right click on the Microsoft Outlook icon on your desktop.

2. Click Show Profiles.

3. Click Add.

4. Type your full name as your Profile name and click OK.

5. Click Check the box next to Manually configure server settings or additional server types. Click Next.

6. Click Microsoft Exchange and click next.

7. Where it says Microsoft Exchange Server type exchangea. Where it says user name type your NETID. Then click check name. You will be promted to log in with the username of uconn\NetID (eg. uconn\abc04004) and your Exchange/Active Directory password (unless you've been added to the Active Directory).

8. The account setup will then resolve to look like this. Click Next.

 

9. Last click Finish.

You are now ready to open Microsoft Outlook 2007.
