Microsoft Outlook/Entourage

Outlook is Microsoft's native Exchange client, similar to the older Entourage client, but rewritten for Mac OS X. Both clients sync University email, calendars, contacts, notes, tasks in a single application, but expect faster performance with Outlook over Entourage. Note: official Microsoft support ends for Office 2008 4/9/2013, MS Office 2004 ends 1/10/2012, and support for Entourage X ended January 9, 2007.

Apple Mail

Apple's built-in email client. Takes a compartmentalized approach: Mail syncs email, Address Book syncs contacts, and iCal syncs calendars (Mac OS 10.6+ only).
