The data on electronic media constitute one of the most valuable resources in any organization. Data Administration provides for data security, DASD administration, and database support. Data Seurity provides for protection against the loss or misuse of data by controlling access to the data through policies, procedures, and products designed to ensure that only authorized personnel have access. DASD Administration monitors the usage of administrative data contained on multiple DASD cvolumes and plans for its growth. Database Support includes the implementation and support for DB2 relational databases.
