Requesting Access to FOCUS files: The FOCUS Data Access Request Form
The procedure to follow when requesting access to a FOCUS/VM online system or other data file is:- A DATA ACCESS REQUEST FORM must be completed and returned to the address noted on the form.
- All DATA ACCESS REQUEST FORMS are logged and sent on to the designated User/Owner of the data for approval.
- Approved access for FOCUS/VM systems are processed with five working days of receipt of approval. As with the CICS systems, a CMS PASSWORD, which is given to each individual CMS account holder, provides a first level of security. In addition, specific accesses to the system or file are enabled by the FOCUS Administrator upon authorization by the University Computer Security Officer and the User/Owner of the system or file. Accesses are reviewed regularly to determine the need for continued access.
