Changing requirements for academic programs
(majors, minors, concentrations, etc.)
in the Undergraduate Catalog
Changes to academic programs become effective at the beginning of the next Catalog date for entering freshmen. Every change to an academic program that was approved between February 2006 and January 2007 of each calendar year becomes effective in May 2007 immediately following graduation. The on-line Undergraduate Catalog is intended to reflect the same official material that is in the 2007-2008 printed document.
Arrangements to temporarily change policy until the alterations become officially effective can be made by arrangements through the office of the Dean of the school or college offering the major. The Dean, in turn, finalizes that change with our Degree Auditing section.
However, the process of creating the "new" Catalog never ends and changes are made soon after they have been approved and reported in the minutes of each school and college. See the PDF version of the 2007-2008 Undergraduate Catalog as it is being prepared at: Catalog Proof. Files on this site are updated throughout the editing process.
The online proof copy affords the opportunity to have a "discussion" with contributors. Blue font is used to show the changes while red font shows areas of concern, remarks about approvals still needed, and asks questions. Please respond directly to me.
