Degree Approvals

Approval to offer a new degree in either a new or an already existing major requires approval on the part of the department planning to offer it as well as the C&C Committee and Dean of the School or College of initiation. When the Board of Trustees and the Board of Regents have approved the program, the Provost will give approval and notify the Office of the Registrar. The approval process must be completed by the end of December in order to become effective in May of the following year, the day following graduation.
