Content Area (General Education) Courses

Courses intended to be used to fulfill the University's General Education requirements must be approved by the appropriate School, GEOC, and the University Senate. Additionally, changing or dropping the courses, requires the same chain of approvals.

The General Education courses are approved to satisfy the various content area requirements. A complete description of General Education, Content Areas, and a list of courses approved through January, 2012 is available in this linked section of the Undergraduate Catalog.
