This course provides students with a comprehensive
knowledge of normal cytologic findings in the female genital tract and the
skills necessary to accurately identify the cellular

This course provides the student with comprehensive

necessary to identify accurately the cytologic changes associated with
normal and abnormal cells of the female genital tract. |

principles and practices and the knowledge and skills necessary to develop
an education project and to perform a research project. |

Practicum

enroll in the course, a student must have earned a "B-" or better in CYTO
248 and CYTO 249. Open only to Cytotechnology majors.
This course provides the student with clinical
experience to complete the integration of didactic and laboratory
components of Cytotechnology. |
