Hispanic Family Nutrition Program

The Hispanic Family Nutrition Program through the Hispanic Health Council (HHC) coordinates four FSNE projects.

The Maternal and Infant Nutrition Education project conducts individual and /or group pre-natal nutrition education sessions through repeated individual contacts with participants of an established prenatal, infant nutrition and breastfeeding sessions to participants in the HHC Comadrona Program and Breastfeeding: Heritage and Pride Program (BHP).

The School Age Children Nutrition Education provides nutrition education to school children and adolescents.

The Social Marketing Nutrition Campaign is focused on promoting high quality diets and combating obesity through two social marketing campaigns using both printed and broadcast messages.
