The U.S. Student Fulbright Program will open on May 1, 2008. Graduating seniors and graduate students who are U.S. citizens at the time of application may apply for Fulbright grants for research and post-bachelor's study abroad during the 2009-10 academic year. Elizabeth Mahan, UConn's Fulbright advisor, will hold an information session on the student Fulbright grant program on April 21, at 7 p.m. in the Class of 1947 Room in the Library. She will:

  • explain the purpose of the Fulbright program
  • review eligibility requirements
  • describe the various grants available to students
  • discuss how to select a country and develop a project statement
  • review the application process

The Fulbright information session is open to all interested students, whether or not you are eligible to apply for a Fulbright this fall. If you cannot attend but would like to know more about the Fulbright program, please contact:
