Subscriptions to Magazines, Newspapers or Periodicals
Subscriptions to magazines, newspapers or periodicals may be processed using one of the following procedures:
- An invoice (Form CO-17UC) may be submitted to the Accounts Payable Department for direct payment to the vendor. The
invoice should include the following information:
- Name of magazine, newspaper or periodical.
- Dates of subscription
- Department and address to which the subscription is to be sent
- Notation as to whether it is a renewal or new subscription
- A copy of the renewal notice or brochure indicating the cost must be attached.
- The subscription may be charged on a departmental purchasing card.
- An employee may personally pay for the subscription if the cost if $499.99 or less and request reimbursement by submitting a properly completed Invoice Form CO-17UC along with supporting receipts to the Accounts Payable Department.
- The Vendor Order Form may be stamped with the direct pay stamp and sent to the Accounts Payable Department for proce
ssing.
